I'm Shaurya. I live in Singapore, in a very large city that fits in a very small country. I build things for a living, but that's the other website — this page is the person. I like order I can pick up and mess I can read. I keep language models the way other people keep plants. I read more than I retain, so I built a wiki that retains it for me. I rewrite emails until they stop sounding like emails. I press R and forget.

Made in India, compiled in Singapore. Two phone numbers: one for the company, one for the country I'm from.

things I keep

• a ring that grades my sleep — we disagree
• a laptop whose firmware I argued with for a season — I won, mostly; the incident report is still open
• a controller — medieval Bohemia at sixty frames, most nights

I like marks that admit they're marks — dither, hatching, phosphor, plotter ink. Paper pretending to be a screen; a screen pretending to be paper.

Textures I trust. A thousand logged sessions, flying in formation.

I keep language models the way other people keep plants — watered daily. Some of them water me back. Two review each other; a third breaks ties.

Most nights end on a big OLED with one bright pixel of a game left running.

Night: the head gets quiet enough to hear itself. Some ideas only visit after midnight. A small lit window in a very large city.

Morning: the ring files its complaint. I file mine.
